Sand casting for the rail and marine trades, sold almost entirely on the phone. The website had to earn the first call.

Enquiry quality up, volume flat

Pallant did not need more enquiries. They needed the enquiries they were already getting to arrive with a drawing attached and a realistic tonnage. The old site made the company look like a supplier of anything to anyone, which is how you attract exactly the work you cannot price.

Narrowing on purpose

We put the constraints on the front page: what they cast, in what alloys, above what minimum order. Volume did not move. The proportion of enquiries the sales office could quote the same day went from about a third to most of them.

The visual argument

Zero radius, tight density, a muted ochre. Nothing on the site is soft, because nothing they make is. That is one preset, not a bespoke build.

Most engagements start with a ninety-minute call and a one-page note back. No deck, no discovery invoice.
